Hi all! New here. I was doing some searches on how accurate the COTUS website is on their estimated delivery times and found numerous threads here on that very subject.
I ordered my 5.0 GT Mustang back in May and it *should* be here this weekend. I have never, in my life, experienced this level of impatience. ESPECIALLY when my husband just bought a '31 Model A and it's being delivered today. (This had me practically in tears last night. "When is MINE coming??!!)
Anyway, I already have my after market exhaust primed, painted and ready for installation. Got all my black badging and black lugs. I just need to dern car to arrive!!!!!
Well, there you go. I *just* got the call that the car is in and ready for pickup at 4:00. I can't decide whether I want to cry tears of joy, scream or tinkle a little.
Welcome aboard! Have any pictures of the car with the black badges etc? Really curious to see how bad butt it looks!
I don't have the car yet (4:00 pm today) and we are doing the badging probably over the weekend? I know the chrome lugs are coming off tomorrow.
I should have specified that the car is a 2015 5.0 GT PP, 6 speed in Magnetic with ebony rims.
Here's one with my husband's '31 A in the background. Rode around in that today. I assure you that there are pieces of the floorboard not there and when he starts it? Blue smoke everywhere.
And why did no one EVER mention the pony that is illuminated on ground when you shut the driver's side door? We almost fell over ourselves yesterday when I parked it in the garage and that showed up!
We changed out all the badging. The black lugs were too small and the new ones should be here today. Pony in front? Cake. GT in back? Not so much. That's part of my trunk--in my kitchen!
