Evening, just checking in from Canada. I've recently factory ordered a 2014 Mustang GT Track Pack in Black, delivery is in a month or so. As for mods...well it doesn't exist yet so it has none, but UPS will be dropping off some GT500 axlebacks, Boss coil covers, a Steeda shift ****, BBR shorty antenna and an Energy Suspension shifter bushing sometime tomorrow. So looking after noise, minor dress-up that's more for me than anybody else, and the sloppy shifter first.
Currently also trying to decide between Boss brake lines or going straight to stainless, and what I want to do for suspension. I'm leaning towards Steeda shocks/struts and sport springs, and a Whiteline Watts Link. I'll most likely do the lines for this summer, and do the suspension next year, once I've got a better handle on how it handles.
I'm not a huge horsepower nut, I more go after putting a car together that's a balanced package. That said, I may need some guidance, as I'm coming from the import world, having mostly driven AWD Subaru's for the past 10 years, FWD econoboxes for the 12 years prior to that, and never having owned a rear drive car, never mind a live axle. But I have been in love with Mustangs since the 05 came out, and finally am in a position to get the one I want, and wanted to grab one before they got too...civilized.
