Well now seeing is believing!
Very nice combo too. What are your first impressions of her now that she's in your driveway? How was the ride back? I don't imagine it being any different than the coupe so what about the roof? Easy? Sturdy? Any complaints?
Personally I prefer the coupe for that fastback look but Ford did I nice job on the vert.
Congrats to you and yours. Buckle up & Drive safely. Don't forget to remind your passengers to hold on tight!
P.S. Glad this wasn't a "dream" even though I'm sure you'll run to the window in the morning and check on your baby to make sure it wasn't.

Thanks guys for all the positive feedback. It should be a lot of fun. I am very impressed with the convertible top. The first section after the windshield is hard. When the top is all the way down, that is the only part you see. I bought the boot, but haven't found time to try it out.
The car drives amazing. I test drove a coupe a couple months ago, and from what I remember, there wasn't much of a difference. There is virtually no wind noise at 90mph with the top up. That is the fastest I got it today. The trunk is bigger than I expected. I really thought the convertible would take up most of the trunk, but it didn't seem much smaller than the coupe. There seems to be very little body roll on tight corners. Also, I was surprised how well the top looked when it was up. The top goes down quick too.
So far, I only have two very minor complaints. First, I wish the parchment leather was a little darker. Second, the speedo is too close together. Meaning, with a car of this much power, you can go from 50-70 and the speedo needle barely moves. Maybe I'll get used to it. I am not sure it needed to go to 140mph. But, I may need that later. B)
I am in Missouri. The weather was pretty good today (around mid-to-low 50s). I still needed a jacket. I got to test the heater too. It works well. It is suppose to rain and cool off tomorrow. So, it may be sitting in the garage all day tomorrow.
PS. I thought I had gotten my first ticket in it only an hour after I had it. But, the highway patrol didn't turn around a stop me. I guess it was my lucky day.

Thanks for the write up. Very happy for you!
More pictures when you get the chance. A nice sunset pic with the lights on would be great!
You know we're all jealous of ya Siggy. :worship:
