Woke up this morning to a hole in the back of my car. It's in my friend's neighborhood, and it's a really nice one, just a few bad ones it seems.

WHoah,
Sorry bout your baby.

$%&#ers!
Some people. (Either that or your girlfriend was pissed at you)
Just the glass or other damage? Hopefully just the glass that should be a relatively straightforeward repair. Seriously I think we have targets or our cars.

I'm getting mine fixed Wednesday. Another hit and run.

Was a totally random person, I come here once a month or so, just staying the night at a friend's house.

Seems like they tried to go for my driver's side and messed up. There's a big mark in that window and a dent where the window and door meet.

Wow...that bites.
When I contemplate all of the security measures and precautions I will be taking on my car (when it finally arrives)...I sometimes think I'm getting paranoid.
Then I see posts like this and am reminded how many small, jealous people are walking around...I think my precautions are worth it.

I think mine was a door ding.

Our babies are hurt !!!

I don't have any real kids but I sort of know how a parent feels when their child is sick.

Makes me furious to see this stuff. People are still pretty surprised when I tell them how much time my car spends in the garage. My theory is the more it's out, the more often it's on the road or in parking lots, the more likely you'll find a moron (who'll run into it) or an a_sshole (that will vandelize it). The car at this point basically only goes out if I'm going to be with it majority of the time or if it'll be in a controlled place such as my office parking lot.

Yaouch! That is just major bad karma for the jerk who did that. Sorry for you - must feel a bit violated and frustrating...

I gotta draw a line here; as great a vehicle as she is, she can be good as new. A child getting seriously hurt, now that would be a real tragedy.

that stinks someone has no respect for others property like that. but dont feel too bad all those parts are easily replaced. unlike a classic car where parts are hard to find.

Ouch! And to a Sonic Blue no less...

I got the first ding about a week ago...looks like a little door ding. No paint loss, just a little dent. Still pisses me off, though. Makes me not want to drive it anywhere, except I still want to drive it everywhere. Such a conflict...
