My name is Kyle and I'm an addict..
Hello Everyone!
New to the forums but not new to Mustangs. From the Bay Area, went to school up at the University of Idaho (Go Vandals!) and now back in the Bay Area working as an IT Consultant in Palo Alto.
First car I got was a 1969 Mustang Fastback from my Uncle Dan when I was 14 or so. He made the poor decision of getting married and had to give it up. Safe to say it was a total project but after 10 years or so it is finally in decent shape but would still love to do alot to it.
Second Mustang I acquired was a 2006 Mustang V6 when I was in high school. This was my parents way of rewarding me for doing good in school and saying no you can't drive a rusted out 69 mustang. Car has been awesome to me, got me through college and the snow but unfortunately I must say goodbye and hopefully sell it to someone who will hopefully treat it as good as I did. I'm actually totally sad about this but...
My 2014 Mustang GT gets delivered on 7/10/2013! Grabber Blue, Glassroof, Track Package, Electronics & Comfort Package, 401A. Absolutely thrilled. This is my dream car and I'm very fortunate I was able to get a job where I could go out and stupidly spend this much money. If all goes well, I'll be setting it up for track days at Sonoma and Laguna Seca and definitely post the progress.
Thanks for reading!

welcome- so you still have the 69 too? when I got mine it had the same hubcaps...looks like a cougar eliminator scoop on it too, got one of those for mine too...
these cars are addictive...ive had my 69 since i was about 18, but its sat engineless since 1984- building up rotisserie mounts (today finally?) hoping to get it mounted up before vacations over...29 years of procrastination is enough.
I didnt care a whole lot for mustangs post-73, but saw the S197 at the auto show in '04 and fell in love with them...you wont regret it, they are wonderful cars...rowing thru the gears, hearing the V8, love it...had my 06 almost 7 1/2 yrs, still as fun to drive as the day I got it
