My 69 Coupe

Probably will have the 69 for about one more week before it goes to my uncle so that I can get either an 07 or 08 Mustang GT. So, I gave her a nice wash and took some farewell pictures. Here is one of them:

Features the original Gulfstream Aqua color (has had a respray in 89) with Mag 500s and spinners. I am going to miss this car but I am excited about getting one of the new ones.

Beautiful car, don't see many of the 69-70 coupes around anymore.

Thanks for the compliments. I keep getting remorse over letting it go (I still have it, Uncle slow in finalizing the deal.) I am going to try and go to a dealership this weekend it test drive a GT and see how I feel after that.

That's what I'd do. If the newer 'Stang doesn't put the same smile on your face that the '69 does, keep the one you've got.

Figure out a way to keep both. Please!
If your uncle is slow to take a car like that, don't sell it to him.
If you sell it, sell it to some one who can't wait to have it and will treat it like the gem it is.
I am so glad my last car went to a real worshipper of the genre.

Yep, your car reaffirms that Gulf Stream Aqua is my favorite 69 color.

That is a sweet car! I don't know your financial situation but try and keep it and get a new one too. You will be regretting letting that one go.

I have decided not to sell the 69. I am going to buy a car bag http://www.carbag.com
and store it for now. It'll be stored indoors so I expect it will come out of storage in the same shape as it is going in. Anyways, just wanted to let everyone know that responded to this thread what ultimately happened to the mustang. I appreciate your responses.

Thanks

I think you'll be happier that this didn't become one of those "I use to own that Mustang" stories.
(I've got one of those stories.)

Congrats on keep the car and sounds like a good way to store it.
