We have never raced before but both my wife and I are wondering about being close to breaking 100MPH in 1/4 mile. Then there is AutoCross thing that happens on one of our campus parking lots that looks like fun.
Funny having station wagons and mini vans for so long we never thought of stuff like this. I wonder if neophytes like us will be shunned or encouraged by the more experienced drivers.

I only ran twice...the first two times I have ever gone down the strip in my life. My best was 14.6 @ 97 mph. I just could not get it to hook up. Once I got out of the hole, it came on great, but I lost a lot of time out of the start. Interestingly, there were a couple of 2005 GTOs out there that were running high 14s and low 15s.
