Just saying hello, and properly introducing myself.
I'm a middle aged Blue Oval fan, and prone to long winded postings. I won't hold it against anyone who puts me on ignore to start!
I've been married since 88, have two fine (if a bit willful) sons, and a new GT on the way as soon as the fine folks in Flat Rock, MI finish putting it together.
I've owned two 69 Cougars, a 67 Cougar, and a...well...chevy product that I'm embarassed to declare (it has been sold, so I consider myself redeemed).
For the past 15 or so years, I have been looking at, and haggling with sellers on 67-70 fastbacks. I never did find the right car, or at least one at a price I could justify. When I saw my first 2005 Mustang in person, I knew I'd finally found 'the' car I had been wanting.
I've posted a couple times under the name Red2005GT. I decided wanted a less busy and more distinctive name, since I enjoy the board, and will be hanging out on it for a long time to come.
Be safe out there,
Joel
