I bought this car in December 1979 when I came back from serving two years in Germay in the U.S. Army. I remember the sticker was something like $10,600 but I got it for $7,100 because it was the end of the year and the dealership needed to get rid of it before the new year. For those of you who don't know it was the Indy Pace Car for 1979 and this car had a Turbo Charged 4 banger. Brings back some memories...

I had a Hot Wheel of the '79 Pace Car. It was the first real Mustang that I noticed. I was 6 when it came out. I've been Mustang 100% ever since.

 

That is a really cool car. Nice!!!
