K Code restoration tips

Hi all, my name is Scott from Australia. I drive a beautiful 1965 K Code HiPo 289. It is in great condition and drives beautifully. I am going to take the next step and finish the already good restoration work. Any tips from the crew on here about where it is best to start?

Well, that would depend on what needs restoring. Engine? Interior? Paint? Trunk?

From the teeny avatar, though, I say just drive it, and worry not. Looks nice!

Hi there it is a great car and already in good condition. In fact I could just leave it as is but want to do some minor improvements to enhance its appeal. Basically I am going to repair as the previous did a home job which is not bad but where I live in Australia, a city called Brisbane, it gets very hot and the paint has bubbled up in one or two spots. So I need to repaint. I was also curious about wether proofing and resealing and some heat proofing on the floor as it gets quite hot.

Any advice around those things would be much appreciated

I have included a better pic. Hopefully that gives a good indication of the condition of my Stang.

Scott

You should post in a different section, not many people read the introductions page. Welcome to TMS.
