Just Order My First Ford
I just order a 2012 Boss 302 last Friday. This will be the first Ford I've ever owned, and the first new domestic car I've purchased. I owned a few Chevys in the '80s but switch to imports in '91. Kudos to Ford for bringing me back form the dark side.

I am new to the board as well. I too have been a foreign car owner for quite some time. Drove the new M3 and was disappointed with it's lack of torque. Can't afford to spend that much on new so would have to be pre-owned which is still a large chunk. Drove the '11 Mustang and was very impressed!! Now I am deciding which Mustang to buy. GT, GT500 or Boss. I haven't shopped the Boss yet. Can anyone tell me what the dealers are asking for it? I haven't driven the 500 either and I am not sure it's worth the extra money. Any comments/input would be greatly appreciated. This seems like a great forum. Looking forward to contributing. Thanks!

Jeff congratulations on your new purchase, I am green with envy! Would love to have a 2012 BOSS 302 to park in the garage beside my 1970 BOSS 302 and my GT/CS. But that would never happen as it means the wife would have to park her car out side.

Jeff,
Congratulations. My new car purchases were a 1983 4X4 Ranger pickup, a 1988 4X4 Ranger pickup, 1994 Probe, a 1997 F150 (2wd), a 2000 Focus, a 2003 supercharged SVT Cobra, a 2004 Nissan Titan 4X4, a 2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe, and a 2006 Titan 4X4 offroad. I also somewhere in there bought a 5-year-old BMW M Roadster (OVER-rated, IMO). Outside of the stupid choices (non-Ford ones always influenced by the S.O.), I never had any trouble with the Fords, and became a Ford fan over the years.
It is with great relish I anticipate my next purchase, which will PROBABLY be a GT 500 (the main competition being the GT Premium, but I'm not sure yet about how to go about extricating a little more power). . . either 2011 or 2012, I'm not sure. I just feel better in a Ford. I think you will, too.
