Charles,
Yes, the wide grin comes as standard equipment on every '05 Mustang delivered. I also figured the grin was from being the proud Papa of your new born, longly awaited BABY. I still grin every time I get in an drive mine, and thats been two and a half months now. Enjoy it, along with the envious crowd of people who will be admiring it wherever you go.
By the way, was that towel lying on the ground behind you, used to wipe away tears of joy upon seeing your new baby?

On another note, I'm glad you got that Mustang book you were looking for. I'm thinking about picking up another copy (if I can find one) so I can get it to someone that can't find one. I haven't been NEAR the stores for the past week; they've been a madhouse!

You've got great taste Dan! Can't wait for my WVB!!
Thanks Tom the wait was the killer, but now that it is here, can't believe how great it feels. It is so much more than I was expecting in power and handling. Did not have it for more than hour when got pulled over by base security. He let us go after he took good long look at her and warn us to be careful. SO FAR SO GOOD!!!!! Tom you order everything I have in mine plus you add the wheel locks.

Adrenaline & Mr-Mstng
My heated seats were bought/installed by the dealer. Funny part is that my dealer had a Ford and a Chevy lot. They wanted to install it at the Chevy lot. Fine by me, it was closer to work. It took all day, since they were learning the new wiring of the 05. The guy said that people came in looking all day long.
I got the basic package (only an on/off switch). But it heats the lower seat and the lumbar area. It cost $399 plus tax. Below is a picture of the switch on the drive side (someone else asked). There is a second one on the passenger seat. The guy wired it so that I have to have the car running and the heat on. That is good for me, so I don't accidentally leave it on when I leave the car.
It has a thermostat and will turn it self down before it gets too hot. It does get real toasty just before it cools down, then it kicks back up without getting too cold.
The seats heat up quicker than the cabin does, usually about 1-2 minutes. Makes it great since I don't have an remote-starter. I just get in and go.

Sorry, I'm shy. But heres my GT at my work. Taken by a pro photog friend of mine! He cleaned up the background a bit though. It was a test shot for a model shoot he wants to do with it. Can't wait to see the models!

Nope, I am a guy who is happy when the thermometer is above 80 degrees. I grew up in VA Beach and got used to the heat. Life has diverted me to Pittsburgh where the temperatures are much colder than I like.
Heated seats are a nice option to have, if you live in any of the northern states where the Winter temps can get below zero. I had them on a Lincoln Mark Vlll, and also on an FX4 F-150. They were nice to have. Just to have the availability of switching them on if you wanted. If Ford would have offered this as an option when I ordered my '05, I would most definitely added it on my car.
