Howdy From Texas
Hey Everybody—
My name is Steve and I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I have loved cars since I was a kid and still have hundreds of my Hot Wheels in the closet. When I was 16 in 1986 I saw the coolest car I'd ever seen: a red 1968 Camaro with Cragar SS wheels. Blew me away. When I got a little older and had a little more change in pocket I bought a 1967 Camaro SS. I've also owned a 1992 Mustang GT and a 1969 Camaro.
I just sold the Camaro because it just wasn't practical to drive every day and I want that experience every day. I thought about getting a new Camaro but I don't really like the interior or exterior design. I also thought about a Challenger which looks great on the outside but not so much on the inside. I considered the Mustang to be the best all-around car, but underpowered. Then Ford built the new 5.0 and it sealed the deal. The Mustang is the clear winner.
So now I'm deciding what kind of Mustang I want. Manual or stick? Brembo package? Glass roof? What aftermarket exhaust? So many decisions. What a great problem to have!
After looking around at some other boards I joined this one because I felt it was the most helpful and not so snarky like some of the others. I love all the posts about mods and all the photos.
Thanks a bunch!
Steve
