Hi TMS
My name is Todd and I own two Mustang GT Premium Coupes. My first ever Mustang was a dark metallic blue 1981 2.3L 5-speed manual (5th was overdrive) coupe. I really liked that car and it was my first Ford. I have always driven Fords my whole adult life, 35 years and six Fords total. I served for 27 years in the US Navy and upon retirement I purchased a wind veil blue 2006 Mustang GT Premium 5-speed Automatic as a gift to myself. The 2006 has been a reliable vehicle and it is in mint condition. I did modify it at Brenspeed (Indiana) with a CAI, custom tune, accessory drive pulleys, and FRPP GT-500 exhaust. This car feels light and responsive and a thrill to drive. My newest is a black 2014 Mustang GT Premium Coupe 6-speed manual w/Track Package and (had) shaker Pro audio/Sync. The dealer installed FRPP Boss 302 Racing exhaust as part of the deal to sell me the car. It sounds great and looks fantastic (if one can keep the dust off it). I plan on some limited modifications in the performance area, such as JLT CAI and Brenspeed custom tune (installed and tested at their facility in Indiana). Honestly, the vehicle goes fast to begin with and needs only limited things done to get those smiles per gallon we all seek.
