Hi from Louisiana
Hey folks!
I just picked up a base Ingot Silver GT coupe on Wednesday. It was kinda by accident. We were car shopping for my wife and I happened to see what a good deal the base GT coupes were. I'd driven a Probe back in college and that had scarred me from buying Ford for a while so I went through a string of Hondas and even a couple of SAABs. I'd been itching to get back into something American for a while and was trying to pick between the Mustang and the Challenger back in 2012 and wimped out and bought another Honda (Civic Si) b/c I have such a long commute every day. But I always regretted that decision and guess I just said to hell with it, I want something I enjoy driving. Man I love driving it out on the highway. It's funny though, on my previous, slower cars, I just loved to wring them out and bounce off redline. But with this car, it just feels so much more powerful that I'm scared to even give it more than a light tap of the throttle.
I've got no immediate plans to mod. I did the bolt on route on my Si and it was a real pain to hurriedly take everything back to stock in order to trade her in. Plus, I guess I never felt like they were worth the investment on that car. But if anyone has a link to any good reads on the handling aspects of this car, I'd love to read up. Its just so many discussions are on handling and everything and I'd just like to get a better grip on what the deficiencies are and what the common mods and fixes are. Anyway, hi!

Love it! I have now bought 4 silver cars since 2002, lol! We were looking at the Infiniti QX80s across the street from the Ford dealer but my wife wants to wait and see what the 2015 Yukon XLs look like. As a consolation prize, she got to drive it to work today.
