Hi, my name is Joe, and I just bought a 1965 Mustang Coupe. It had always been a dream car of mine and at 45, it came true. I bought it to tinker in with my kids and introduce them to classic cars. Our 65 is going to be a family adventure... I'm sure I'm going to have tons of questions (they're already piling up in my head... Lol), and I can't wait to meet you fine people and pick your brains a bit.
Regards
Joe

Hi, This is my first post lol even before doing a first thread. I am originally from Philla PA the lower NE section AKA as Kensington. It was a tuff neighborhood back then but total crap now from what I hear.
I have owned many first gen Mustangs, It is a very simple car, easy to work on and figure out. The only things that got me was, the leaky cowl and the none protected (from getting wet) distributor. It took a few times stalling out in the rain on Roosevelt blvd. before I figured out spraying the inside of the distributor cap with a little WD40.
Good luck and have fun with the car
