After see sawing back in forth between buying 2011 Challenger R/T or the 2012 Mustang GT (I've had Mopars New and old for a long time. I still have a 69 Road Runner), the Mustang, as far as I'm concerned, is far superior and cheaper to boot. So I ordered a new one last Saturday and decided to join this forum. Already some of you guys have been a great help.

I live in the great white north (I've already had contact with someone from my home town) so I'm not sweating the delivery so much. Takes a awhile to wash all that salt away.

Welcome to TMS! What are the specs on the 2012 you ordered?

 

I ordered a Kona Blue Coupe with the GT500 Brake package, security, 3.73/limited slip, 6 speed manual, electronic package. Ordered it last week so with any luck it'll show up just after the salt and crud washes away. My 2006 Chrysler 300 just became a winter beater

 

Here's a couple of pics of the Road Runner. It was a real basket case when I got it and some of the aftermarket parts (most of which are off shore) were horrendous. I tried to use as much OEM stuff as I could. I even had to go thru the crate engine....twice!
