Hello from Seattle
Well, my mustang has a VIN so I thought it was only appropriate to drop by and say Hi.
I'm Randi. I have ordered a 2014 GHIG mustang GT convertible. Would love to meet some locals, as well as learn all I can about this beast of a car! I'm originally from Chicago and spent a lot of years in Dallas/Fort Worth TX. Came here so I could actually enjoy the outdoors....and my convertible (I currently have a Mini cooper convertible).

Thanks everyone for the welcome! I'll keep you posted.
Elk Grove Guy, when is yours expected in.
BTW, anyone have any solutions for an alternative front plate bracket. I found one,, but I am trying to see what options I have.
Thanks

This was my solution after checking with the Washington State Patrol. The trooper I spoke to said that since the entire state name and plate number were visible I would have no problems and a year later I have had none. And there have been NO cooling problems in 18K miles.

Hey Congrats, The wait is killer but, getting closer...
As to the plate holder options, just did the same recently... There are a couple of nice options.
Craigs Custom Brackets
http://ccmustangbrackets.com/welcome...tang-brackets/
I found these would not work with the Roush lower grill installed, so they would not fit my car. Saw one of these at the dealer. Looked nice and kept the plate off the paint. This a more of a permanent option. Not meant to be pulled on and off.
The one I decided to go with was Big Mike's option. I liked that it can be quickly removed without a trace. Also nice when covering the car for storage. Makes it easier to put the car cover with out a concern the plate will cut the cover. It was easy to install and did not require the car to be lifted to do so. Here is a pic of mine, but there are other pic's on the site. I would definitely recommend going this route.

Congratulations on your new ride to arrive! What is driving me crazy is waiting on some dry, sunny weather so I can drive my stang. Just got it in January but with the weather here in Oregon (cannot compare with the MidWest-East Coast owners!) I have hardly driven it.
On the front plate issue, here in Oregon, the front plate is required. Just talked to some cops about it yesterday and they will ticket you if not installed. Bummer dude!
