Hello from Ohio
Well I finally got to join this great forum and to say that I'm excited would be an understatement. I finally get to "be around" people that are just as passionate as myself about their own cars, let alone the Ford Mustang in general.
This past October my dream car, after ordering, finally came in. It is a 2012 Shelby GT500 in Race Red with the Perf.Pkg., Elect.Pkg., Recaro Seats and the Car Cover. The only thing that I did not choose to get was the Glass Roof. Not because I don't that its cool, but I just couldn't come to grips with not having the stripes going over top of the roof.
So far my car has only around 740 miles on it. You can blame the terrible weather here in Eastern Ohio/Western Pennsylvania for that.
Well, that's enough of my rambling, except that I wanted to thank all of you for your insight on these absolutely wonderful automobiles that Ford has produced, before i was a Forum Member, over this past year. Also I would like to give a special thanks to whoever is responsible for creating this Forum.
Please take of yourselves Gentlemen and thank you again.
Sincerely, Bill(BB3)

Well.....It's rated at 550hp, but I think more importantly than that is the torque. It's rated at 510 lb/ft.
The car cover doesn't do a **** thing. hahahaha. It was worth it though, being that it has the Cobra & GT500 logos on it. I couldn't resist.

Who knows, maybe we'll run into each other one of these days. C-Bus is my wife's old stomping grounds and we visit quite often.
Take care of yourself and thank you for the welcome Sir.-----Bill

I've been to Steubenville a few times before many years ago. There was a sports car club hosting autox events at some technical school parking lot. I'm not sure if that club still exists today.

There are still a few of us car guys around in Steubenville, but it seems like the younger guys are more concerned about what new cell phone is coming out instead of fooling around with cars.
I can't figure it out ?........

I'd love to have the seats out of your 500.

Whenever the weather straightens out we'll definitely have to get together.
