Car is being outfitted with a custom set of shorty headers and a roll cage is being cut and tacked to fit for new rolling chasis that is being sent in from MD. Chasis is going to be welded at all seems and have reinforcements on all right angles. Going to be sitting on a set of 16x7 Torques, tires not determined. Rear end, might change to a 9" but, i like the 8.8" and 2.80gears. Car is my daily driver also. Got it for 1000$ running from a neighbor, had a lot of the suspension already on it, along with transmission rebuild 3months before i bought it. I yanked the motor two days after i got it, tore it down and just did a quick rebuild (was back in the car with in 8days). Car is being used for drifting (no one does it, so, ill stand out). Car should be DONE by July. Is a coupe, and staying a coupe, you can keep your fast back...
Pics attached are of the car before i drove it off his yard... The BIG MOTOR was a 460bb, bored and stroked to 554, Holley High Rise Intake, Holley 950CFM DP carb, truck was MEAN... Blew the motor to kingdom come when i tried to put a 200shot of nitrous on it... wasnt worth it. Truck was mean tho, till that day!
