Just picked up my 87 GT that my uncle has owned since 1990. 57,000 original miles, never seen a drop of rain. Built the drivetrain from front to back, Supercharged, 551 at the rear. My Uncle Doyle was partners with My Uncle Richard Holcolmb with their Top fuel team in the 80's. so yes the car was built RIGHT!!
