First time Mustang Owner
Hello,
My name is Jose. I am a Chief Petty Officer of the United States Navy. I always drove GM cars, my first car was a 1979 Firebird formula, from there I went to a couple of 86 and 87 IROC's, an 87 Grand National, 84 Trans AM and a 99 WS6 Firebird Formula, which was my favorite. I needed a newer car, I wanted a mustang for a while. My father had a beautiful 1970 mustang when I was a little kid. I loved that car. I was drawn in by the 2011 V6 with 305HP. The only one the dealer had was a premium performance white auto. To be honest I was a little disappointed because it did not feel like a 305HP car, but I bought it anyway. I started modifying it with flowmasters, airaid CAI and a SCT tuner from AM/BAMA. Needless to say, WOW! This is how the car should have been tuned from the factory. I just love the car and the MPG is great.
Now I want to ad a set of 3.55 gears and a set of headers etc.
I better stop babbling, I just want to say it is great to join the forum.
Thanks!

Well Thank you guys. I appreciate all your comments. I am going to transfer to Coronado, California in 2 months and I am a little worried about my Airaid CAI. I heard CA is the most stringent state when it comes to modifying cars. Any of you from CA at all? I kept my stock box in my garage just in case. Again thank you for the warm welcome.

I see that we have similar tastes in G-bodies and F-bodies from the GM side of the universe. Here is my 'family' below. Welcome aboard!
