I like the ATAK much better over my previous Borla S-Type (sport) exhaust... Although I liked the deeper tone of the S-Types over the ATAK's, the interior resonance drone of the S-Types was just too much to deal with when driving at cruising speeds on the highway in 5th gear... Since upgrading to the Borla ATAK exhaust, interior resonance drone has been significantly reduced and is much more tolerable/manageable... Just keep in mind that the Borla ATAK exhaust will produce a slightly higher pitched exhaust tone and also much louder than stock...
Therefore, if you intend on running the ATAK exhaust on either a long tube header or off-road exhaust setup, you may find them as being way too loud and possibly very raspy... Needless, to say, I run the factory catalytic converters paired with the ATAK exhaust and find them just loud enough to my personal satisfaction...

As long as the factory cats are still in place, you should be just fine... If you're concerned about the ATAK's being too loud for your neighbor when leaving for work at 5:45AM, just make certain not to rev up the engine too loud when leaving lol.

Even with the factory cats in place, the exhaust is nearly 3x as loud when running Borla ATAK mufflers over the stock mufflers, especially when first starting up the engine when still cold... Borla ATAK mufflers produce the loudest exhaust volume in their exhaust system line up, due to using the least amount of insulation along with their multi core construction... As for my neighbors, some have asked if I'm running an off-road exhaust setup... When I tell them the factory exhaust is still in place, they will then ask if I have an exhaust leak somewhere or if something is wrong with the exhaust lol.
