I work my hiney off washing, waxing, getting stung by a wasp, detailing the wheels and cleaning the interior..... :bang:
SHOWERS & THUNDERSTORMS FOR AFTERNOON
After a great Sunday morning, the afternoon will have showers and some thunderstorms. Air will be warm and humid with highs in the 70’s and increasing dew points.
Increases in humidity will set us up for showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. A front will gradually move southward and position itself in Central Alabama.
On Monday, rain remains within central Alabama. The front passes farther to the south by Monday afternoon. Drier north winds prevail.
Temperatures will cool on Monday and Tuesday because cooler and drier air reaches south. Warmer temperatures return Wednesday, along with the rain.

Here in Northern Illinois this time of year, we hope that the temps will be warm enough for rain. Instead, we get an inch or two of snow, and then the road crews dump a quarter inch of salt on the street to melt it. Makes for a real mess, so we wash our cars three times a week to get the gray salty stuff off our cars. Everyone at work asks how I keep my car looking so good in this sloppy weather. Well Duh! :scratch:

A 5 or 50 footer refers to the car looking good at 5 or 50 feet untill you get close to it . :nono:

I just got screwed out of the simpsons and arrested development due to the above rain. Stupid weathermen!

We will be getting your weather tomorrow. My car is clean and freshly waxed, it figures. Just makes it easier to clean later on.

My car is safe in her horse house, untouched by a drop of rain. 
And will remain there until it passes me.
I was going to wash the alero too, but got as far as the interior and then realized it lives outside(got kicked out when Eleanor came home) and what was the point?

Ahh looks pretty..
I just spent over 12 hours detailing my wife's Protege 5.
I'd just finished washing the first time then claybar and then my 3 year old daughter dicided to help out with the claybar step by scratching the crap out of the front fender with a rock..!
I'm just glad that I decided to do my wife's car first, if it had been my new 3 day old mustang there may have been a death in the family
just kidding..
Anyway I got most of it out with lots of polishing and lots of waxing, now the car looks better than if ever did..

NO rain Today. Eleanor gets to come out of the horse house!
The frigging bee sting I aquired is red and itchy though. Stupid bee, Eleanor is not a flower.
This time next week she will be covered in slime though. Its gonna be scary. I am leaving 60 degree temps for 30 degree snowy ones!
