Steve ~ I think she was saying that she was gettin the yellow 05 & her husband was getting the red 04. JMO. I could be wrong about that though. Thats just what I kinda got out of it.

OK, this afternoon you had resigned yourself to buying a red 04 for your husband's car, and you were going to have to wait for MY 2006 for Eleanor to come home.

Now that I have put the first 100 miles on her and quit having panic attacks ( I had 3) I can tell the story.
When we got up this morning, it was OH CRAP what do we do, we have one car. Hey, remember that ***** of a salesman at X&X(Roush on Christmas eve dealer) So I did, but to hedge my bet I called the salesman at Ernest Mccarty Ford by me.
First salesman calls back- I can put you in an 04, I say I don't care anymore, do it.
You can not have my high dollar jacked up 05 yellow. :scratch: Go figure.
So as we are walking out the door, I tell Brian- lemme call JR one more time. I call him, he says he is working something up give him a couple minutes. So I tell Brian- I don't have time for this- lets just GO there.
So as we are walking in the door, JR says- We are just finishing up the paperwork- look over there, shes yours unless you want the torch red instead. I had been told the yellow was sold(people keep putting deposits on it and keep falling through) so I look at him and say without thinking YOU ARE F****** with me! No I am not, merry Christmas. So the tears start........
He walks me outside on the pretense of looking at the redfire parked up front- and I frigging lose it.......Hes like QUIT people are going to think I am beating you out here. Here comes the salesman- I calm down enough after two men consoling me......
We do the paperwork, they clean her up, we get the keys. Brian drives the olds home. Then JR and I go across to fill er up.
As I am departing- I lose it again, I can NOT believe it. I drive home blubbering the whole way.
So I get home and dealer A(ugh) calls- you still coming in? I politely tell him to stick it, he asks why- OH BECAUSE I JUST BOUGHT A YELLOW from Ernest Mccarty. He says- you should have told me you wanted an 05- I said I did you donkey named jack and you said I couldn't have it, have a nice life and I hung up.May he get a boil on his **** .
I get home, load my cds in, and take off to show my Dad- 55 mile each way. He is in love too. I drove him about 3 miles, revved her for him and drove home.
Got home, took it for chinese, wiped other peoples drool off it, and she is parked inside her new home now.
Fun Facts: I didn't know the shaker stayed on till you opened the door.
Fun Fact 2- PEOPLE BREAK THEIR NECKS LOOKING
Fun Fact 3- Give me six months- she will Be Eleanor.
I broke the shaker in with Dark side of the moon by pink floyd.
