Checking in
Hi,
New member and Mustang newbie. Just picked up an '04 GT Convertible a couple of weeks ago, reading the archives and learning about the car. BTW, this is my first Mustang, first convertible and first Ford for that matter.
Seem to be getting off on the wrong foot with the car - they're having to replace the whole rear end due to a vibration problem (so 2nd week of ownership is being spent at the dealer).
But, when I "did" have the car I was having a blast with it! LOL Wife loves it too - which is always a good thing!
Looking forward to good times ahead - lotsa fun in the Sun! Long term plan is to see how I like the car for a few years, how I like Fords in general and how having a convertible pans out. Then, after all the hub-bub dies down trade up for an '06 or '07 "new" Stang.
First I've got to get my new GT back though!
Cheers, Jeff

Thanks,
Trying to get a handle on posting a pic - can I just copy and paste (and attach an image to a post)? or does the image need to be linked from a web location? I looked around on the site but couldn't find any specific instructions on posting pics.
I have some digital pics but nothing on a web location.

Welcome to the board. Yeah we need pics!
Btw, where are you from?

Welcome aboard. Sorry to hear about the problems. But it sounds like you are in the same boat as those who have ordered the 05. Hurry up and Wait. :bang:
But the wait will be worth it. Good things come to those who wait.

OK, how about this shot. Spank'n new with less than 300 miles! LOL
(Now she sits forlornly at the dealership...). Oh well, weather's been crappy here lately anyway - definitely not top-down weather. Hopefully I'll get her back this weekend.
