Hello everyone. After looking for a year, contemplating this and that, today I put in my order for a Competition Orange 302 with the Recaro seats/torsen diff. This car WILL see the track as much as financially possible! I'm excited....now I have to wait........and wait.

Thanks guys. Yes, it is my 1st Mustang. I've always liked the S197. I had a 2008 S2000 for autocross duty and I loved it. However, in order to get it on to the track, it would have needed some major safety mods as tracks around me require a roll bar and harnesses. Also I saw Continental Tire series race at VIR and loved the Mustangs in that series. So I sold the S and sat back and waited. I'm really looking forward to an engine with some real grunt.

Very cool. The Mustang is a bit uh...heavier than the S2000, so be ready for that. It's a car that you'll need to get a set in a corner before you really rip on it--but the chassis and the powertrain are capable if you can adapt.
