Arizona intro

Just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Cody and I live in Mayer, AZ. About two months or so ago I bought a 1969 mustang coupe. It has a 302 2barrel engine and for the amazing condition it's in (compared to some of the other rust buckets I saw online), I only paid $5k. As good of condition it's in, it does need some work...right now I'm working on converting the 2-barrel carb to a 4-barrel and after that, I'll be saving up for a power rack and pinion steering set to replace the old steering box system as it's really lose anyhow.

Well here's some pics and thanks for having me!!

I'll definitely look out for that! Since I live a little off of I-17. Do you have an exact location on where the show will be in flag? I'm off that Friday and might wanna go. Maybe I could bring my mustang, not sure though cause the steering is kinda loose and I don't wanna chance anything happening going that far up north. What all years of mustang can be in the show?

So are you driving up I-17 till you get to the highway 69 exit? Then taking Prescott down through Jerome, cottonwood, sedona and on up to flag?

And thanks flagstang!

Ok just some updates...

I was having a problem with my battery going dead so I got the alternator checked and its in great shape. Found out the voltage regulator was bad so while replacing that, I replaced the battery too just to have a new one.

I also found out that there was no license plate light so I got a LED strip at auto zone and wired it up and looks great.

Last thing, bought a set of LED tail lights from CJ pony parts and got some comparison pics along with a shot of the license plate light.

Enjoy!

Thanks a lot! Next LED upgrade will have to be the gauges as they are so dim, you can barely read them.... But before that, I need to work on getting the new 4-barrel carb so it will start better after being hot.
