I miss Hawai'i. So many good things to do and see. Been lucky enough 3 times to get there.
Best spots for me are:
Waipio Valley on Big Island after a big overnight rain and the waterfalls pour out of the side of the island into the sea. That was my first morning there in Hawai'i. Glorious.
The Road to Hana. 'nuff said.
And just outside of Hana is the Waianapanapa State Park with it's black pebble beach and a sea cave (!). And a wonderful overlook of the beach where I took my most favorite picture... my parents sitting on that beach, with the tropical flora in the foreground framing them. It was perfect.
Sigh... Miss it bad.
