05 GT, Mineral Gray, IUP, Shaker 500, Side Air Bags, Manual, Ordered Feb 4th 2005. Drove off the lot July 29.
Walked into Len Stoler Ford in Maryland. Feb. 4th, '05 to buy a F-150. My sales woman Vicky Warren, noticed me looking wishfully at the GT they had on the floor and asked why I didn't get one. Told her I couldn't afford it (I had seen a 5k mark-up at a local dealer and had assumed they were all marking them up that much. I was wrong. Len Stoller had NO mark-up!).
We talked and she made me an offer I couldn't refuse. Vicky said right off the bat, "if you want the IUP and a manual trans, you'll be waiting 6 months."
After I wrote the down payment check, Vicky asked if there was anything else she could do for me. I said "Yea..... can I take one for a test drive?" Yes I bought it solely on looks.
Anyways, after 3 months of waiting, I began web research and started reading horror stories on long wait times, people loosing thiers because they didnt pick it up the day it came in and it got sold, price jacks once the car came in.. etc.. and started getting really paranoid that it was going to happen to me. I called every Friday to see if my order had been picked up and to ask more 'interagation' type questions to Vicky. Ms. Warren eased my worries and assured me that Len Stoler does not do business like that.
Ack I am talking too much....
Long story short.... I got my Stang and I couldn't be happier with Vicky and the Dealership.
She told me 6 months.. and it was 6 months.
She worked with me and got me not only into my price range, but on the road with a few upgrades!
Even though I remained suspicious for 5.5 months, I worried for nothing.
Now I have 1k miles (my preset 'break-in' period) and I have ... well lets say I found a few long seldom used roads.... and my smile is still from ear to ear!
Thank's Vicky for dealing with me for the whole 6 months. It has honestly been been a pleasure dealing with you.

Nice car and Welcome. It's cool to see the discontinued colors(mineral, Sonic) They are what made it hard for me to choose between Vista and Tungsten. Seriously Very nice
