What's up everyone. I bought a 2014 mustang gt w the track pack. I picked the up the car w 70 miles, n im trying to figure out how miles do I need to drive before it's broken in, before I start to open it up?

Thanks guys. I love the new 5.0... ford did right by bring back 5.0 n making bad ***..... Did anyone get their 5.0 w the track pack? I wanna do some mods, nothing wild. But I'm worried bout voiding the factory warranty...... Does anyone know what mods might or might not void the warranty???

Enjoy he new toy. Just got mine the other say. Mods seem to be Axel backs GT500 are great either single out or Dual. Roush if you want really load and aggressive. Front Splitters and grill for looks. A tune New 2014 GT track key and procal tune just availble since the 30th. The list goes on Oh yea on this site it they recommend a oil Catch Can. Im looking for a good one now..

I believe in the Owners Manual it mentions about varying the speed and allowing for break-in during the first 1000 miles.
Hey Cecil, track pack here. Love it. Very quick, and by adding the Roush upgrades handles amazing.
Love my Roush axle backs too, nice rumble. No drone, and when cruising down the highway still able to talk to the wife. Usually leave the music off to hear the roar as I head down the road, especially when accelerating. I get comments all the time on how loud, and great it sounds! Never a negative...

Do not measure fuel economy during the first 1000 miles
(1600 kilometers) of driving (this is your engine’s break-in period); a
more accurate measurement is obtained after 2000 miles–3000 miles
(3200 kilometers–4800 kilometers).
