My present SVT is a 1998 Contour, @ #2300 of some 6000 -- was supposef to be limited to 5000. I bought it in '99 as a program car with some miles on it. The only prior owner was FOMOCO and I got it from a Lincoln dealer. Maybe thats why I paid about 10,000 below new msrp. I'm sure that impresses you mustang guys, lol!

I did take my driver's ed in a Mustang. Every day except when the instructor and I went out to find it stolen! The cops found it quickly when they stopped it for speeding and saw the dual controls! Later I learned to drive manual shift on a friend's 64 1/2 Mustang vert. One time we were moving a window air conditioner for a girl, and my foot went through the rear floorbords! That's all the Mustang cred that I can come up with right now.

Yeah don't pay more than MSRP. There are plenty of dealers willing to deal so shop around.
