Guess you can't post an MP3 sound of exhaust clip?
Doubt it, either the numbers or the claim it is stock is jacked. That works out to a 6.3% drive train loss. At 444 HP, the rear has been rightly reported at 388, 389, somewhere in that range. Try and find out what "cheap and easy to still call it stock" mods were done to net 27 HP and I am in!

The dyno runs were done by "American Muscle", an internet magazine? The "before" run of 416 HP, then added intake, exhaust, and computer programmer, and got 451 HP? They filmed the whole thing, so maybe their dyno was "biased"???

Wawanesa, STILL hasn't paid off my total loss, Mustang. First level appraisal was $49,000. Has to be approved by his supervisor, they are not happy about paying that much on a claim! Supervisor will probably try to "negotiate" down, to $45,000. We'll see?

I looked up all the videos I could find, and what I saw was 383 RWHP, 332 RWTQ. Still bad ***, no? I did see that after their throttle body, JLT intake, headers and exhaust they gained 60 HP and 69 TQ.

The video was on Youtube, under Boss 302, performance gains American Muscle. An advertisement to sell performance parts. Car & Driver magazine did a dyno test, they got 391 HP, using "Performance Key".

After driving a 2013 Boss 302, IMO, it's faster than a Camaro SS, 6.3 Hemi Challenger, Corvette, Porsche 911, any BMW, and more. It's just plain FAST!

Glad you're okay (well, at least alive is not banged and bruised) Cranky.

As far as color, I was just at the dealership yesterday. It's hard to get an accurate pic of the colors. The Boss School Bus Yellow isn't really, em, school bus. It's a deeper yellow. Must see in person kind of yellow. And your pics of your green one don't do the color proper justice - and it's nearly impossible to describe. Not my personal favorite color, but the Mustang can wear it and pull it off. That's a color that will definitely be either loved, or not in anyone's opinion. On another vehicle, it would be downright absurd. Could you imagine a Gotta Have It Flex rolling around town? hahaha.

Glad your ok, and great choice in color. At work in the parking lot my car stands out no other ones around, I like that. As for one of your posts you mentioned Mobil One as your choice of oils for your new Boss. Was wondering why you picked Mobil 1. I myself only ran Amsoil in my last Mustang and plan to do the same in this one. Was just curious why the choice. Amsoil is a little pricey more than Mobil 1 but I and other Mustang owners I know swear by it. No I don't have stock in Amsoil.. LOL

Still around in fact I saw a dealer on TMS. There are some places on LI that sell it. Great oil.

FINALLY!!! Wawanesa PAID UP, $47,000.00, after I filed a complaint with Ca. Insurance Commisioner. They told Wawanesa, law requires they pay "replacement" value "NEW" car, not year old car with 15,000 miles! DONE. Finally got to bring Boss 302, home! Now I have to learn how to drive "the beast", program the track key, install K & N filter, and remove exhaust baffles.

It great to be back on the road, huh?
Especially in a BOSS

It will always take a little with any insurance company --

Youre a winner this trip!

watch out for the new BMW M5 -- dont want you to get sniped by a four door sedan...

http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...ad-test-review

they are not here yet but its just a couple of months away.... and will cost 50k more for the bragging rights too.

just doesnt seem logical in the days of scrimp and save ... but cost is only relative, right?

drive safe and enjoy.

BMW did "12 seconds flat", Boss 302 did 11.7, we'll just see?

hey i'm with you on this... but i have a healthy regard for the M cars -- since I've been with BMW for 23yrs... they are famous for under-rating their cars

yeah, it p***es my bosses off when they hear me rolling through our parking structure -- haha!! i do it on purpose.
