My premium coupe in Kona Blue fully loaded with glass roof was ordered 11-12. Build date is 12-5-11. Should be driving it 12-9. Very excited!

Thanks! They are working OT in the factory to gear up for '13. All 2012 Stangs cut off date for orders is 1st week of Dec.

 

Cool. Maybe the 420HP engines are already on the assembly line if they are getting ready for 2013. Mine should be getting built soon too since I ordered on 11/14.

 

The dealer should confirm the build date with you and supply the VIN number. This ensures that the factory has the order.

 

Order confirmed by Dealer and Ford Service Rep. No VIN yet to my knowledge.

 

I am going to the plant and watch my Mustang being built on 12-5. The VIN number was needed in my case so that I knew the actual date. I am told that the cars are built in one day.

 

Lucky you! Wonder if they let you take pics? If mine is schudeled for same day maybe you could get some pics of mine!

 

I am not sure if they allow that. I'll find out and let you know.

I was hoping to watch my Mustang being built on 12-1. It will be built 12-8. The factory is really booked. I will be out of town on 12-8. Bummer!
