Hello all, I'm luke, 26.

So I bought a '13 mustang gt three months ago, it replaced a '08 Subaru STI.

So far its done 1900 miles and only mods are wheels/ tires and air/oil separators.
Car is black with saddle leather int. 6 speed manual , naturally, 3.31 gears. Best 0-60 using track apps is 4.5 sec.

I have to say I love the car so far, there are a few issues but I'm taking it to the dealer on Sat to check it out.

 

What kind of issues? And I'm jealous of the saddle leather

 

Seems factory alignment is off. Ever since I put on wider wheels I can notice the rear axle isn't centered, and camber is off on front passenger tire, it would hit the fender if I lowered it, but would be fine on the other side. Also there is a metallic squeaking sound coming from the rear end, like dust shield might be hitting the rotor, it stops when I apply say 25% of brakes. also semi loud whining in 5th and 6th around 2k rpm when coasting. And brake pedal feels spongy sometimes.
Sounds like alot of issues but that V8 rumble makes up for it.

Welcome. STi is a nice rice burner but welcome to American muscle. You made the right choice.

update:

Dealer said noise seems to be coming from the suspension, not the brakes like I though. I just took it for a ride because it was raining...and the noise stopped. I'm thinking might be a bad bushing somewhere. I've got an appointment Sep 5th because their shop is backed up.

On another note finally cracked 4.4 to 60 the other day. I think 4.2 is possible with lower control arms to help with wheel hop.
