I've been a Mustang fan for the entire history of the car. I was three years old when it came out in 1964. My father once told me that, upon seeing ads for this new car, I tried to talk him into getting one. He never did, but he found one for me after I got my driver's license.
My first Mustang was a 1968 lime gold coupe with a 289. That car saw me through high school and college. Great car, and I wish I still had it. I loved the turn signal indicators in the hood! It was that car that I drove away from my wedding. I'm still married to the same great girl! Our 20th anniversary is next month.
Cirscumstances demanded that I sell the 68, and I spent many Mustang-less years. Now I'm driving a 1999 V6 atlantic blue Mustang. I bought it new, and I've put over 100,000 miles on it.
In addition to the actual car, I've got quite a collection of Mustang hot wheels and other die cast models, and a small library of Mustang books.
I like this site because it doesn't have the high idiot ratio that some other mustang forums have. The discussions here are civil, intelligent, and informative. I'm mostly a lurker, because I don't have a lot to contribute compared to the other knowledgeable members.
Thanks to Brad and the mods for giving us this great home!
I took this picture back in the spring of the year.

D'oh! No, Brad didn't give me the home in the picture. I was talking about this home on the web, TheMustangSource.com.
Picture was taken outside American Village in Montevallo, AL. They also have a full size replica of Mount Vernon, George Washington's home.
