The job market is ok in my area, but it is tough when you don't have much experience.

Which one you want?
I manage the accounts for a telecom company since 1999. Telecom is booming- just not in Alabama. Where I work
And I Am also an administrative assistant looking for more work. Apparently the only way to get a job in that field no matter how good you are- is to be a slack
who sleeps all day.
And I find those admin jobs by being a temp.

Section supervisor of Technical Information Services at a large petro-chemical complex. I work with a lot of engineers and draftsman and I can tell you that there is shortage of both engineers (all disciplines) and draftsmen/CAD operators.
