Oh My gwad what possible point could there have been to make that ? maybe that's why I heard today something about a Japaneese group going after u-tube for some copyright thing and wanting to shut it down ?? and that Google that has more money than Scrooge McDuck was also supposedly to by u-tube . Now don't shoot me I only heard it on the radio.

 

There are A LOT of japanese cartoons that are posted on youtube... so I am not surprised that a Japanese Org. wants to shut it down.

When an American TV show is posted on youtube it is closed quick because of copyright issues. Not those Japanese cartoons though.
My brothers have watched enough Japanese cartoons on YouTube to save themselves thousands of dollars.

BTW, Google did buy out YouTube for a cool 1.65million

 

They are lucky they got bought out, because youtube is waiting to combust at any moment. They must lose so much money giving out that much bandwith for free. Also they have a ton of copyrighted material that they can get their pants sued off for.

 

As far as the copyrighted material is concerned, YouTube has always had a policy of removing any copyrighted material that they receive a complaint on. And I would say that the entire concept of YouTube was to get bought out. Offer an extremely good, unmatched service for free long enough to establish it. Once they took their place as #1 it was only a matter of time until somebody ponied up the cash the buy them out. Whether it be Google, Microsoft, AOL, or Yahoo it was really inevitable. It's basically the old dotcom bubble model. Except back then alot of people weren't smart enough to recognize they had unsustainable business models.

 

So Did anyone get one of these?
And did anyone else see the flipping fools waiting in line out in the rain for days? Who needs something that bad?
I waited in line for 5 hours for the Ps2- swore never to do it again.

 

Yea, there was no reason for people to get the PS3 so quick... their launch games arent must have (except maybe Resistance). They could have waited a while and saved themselves a headache and some extra days of work (if they work lol)

 

I heard there are major overheating issues with it.

I have zero plans to add one of these to my menagerie. Its like Ford or Chevy- and I am a playstation to Xbox convert.

 

Most of them are getting them to sell on eBay, simple as that. I should have reserved one from Game Stop several months ago just for that purpose
I did that with my 360. Reserved it, bought it on launch day sold it for a quick $800 and then bought another one. So basically I got my 360 for free

 

and I would tell those thinking of buying a PS3 for double the price to not do it, because of the same reason you shouldnt sleep in the rain to get one.
No must-have games at launch

 

I "might" buy one after the price drops to something remotely appropriate.
Now how long till Microsoft drops the 360 price? I say we see it next week or the week after.
What do you think ?

 

I went down to Walmart to see if there was any PS3 crazies down there....nope....they got in about 5 PS3's........I went and looked at the game selection, its laughable....quite a list of lackluster launch titles

 

They only got 5? or they actually had 5?
