Are we sure they are going to drop the Xbox 360 price???? I don't think they need to, they already have a better price/product than PS3....

I have heard rumors its dropping......
We clocked in at $503 for the $399 Xbox(comes with Harddrive,microphone and wireless controller) plus Saints row. Points are $6 per 500. Arcade Games average 400-800 points each. Add ons are 100 points, and pictures are 60 points.
For that plus $200 for the Wii, its still a better bargain than the Ps3.

I would go with the top end X360, it's just a better deal.
And I would also wait a bit until the Christmas season to see if the price gets lowered. There were reports that it would drop a bit.
There isn't many games that you must play right now anyway, so just wait...

My guess is the launch date of PS3, the 360 drops their price.
I never trust the voice of a Microsoft Executive anyway.

Apparently the ps3 went on presale yesterday.
The EB games nerd is all like- its better than the 360. And it has cool games.(yes, same ones I can play on the 360). And if you like Saints Row you will love this one.
Yes, First person shooter, the games I hate the most.

Yea... I read that on IGN a couple of days ago... the six axis feature is basically useless, and the new placement of the L2/R2 buttons dont feel right

Sony's been doing just about everything in their power to **** off their fanbase
- Threatening legal action to prevent selling pre-owned games
- Taking the "shock" out of the dual shock
- "You should be paying even more for the console" speech
- Hinting at games costing up to $100 each
2.) Couldn't be helped due to Patent lawsuit, would have cost them $90 Million to include. And really, who cares, I can name on one hand the number of games that make good use of the feature.
3.) Good ol' Ken Kutaragi, he's nuts
4.) Also not true, first-party games will be roughly equivalent to 360 games in price.
As far as a 360 price drop, I expect we'll see a pack-in game before we see a price drop. Something like PGR 3.
