Quick I need help deciding..... Xbox 360 vs. PS3

Things I would miss about PS:

>Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts games by Square Enix

>Gran Turismo!!!!!

>Guitar Hero???

Things wouldn't miss about PS:

> My 100 or 200$$$$ for PS3

So Xbox 360 Premium system or PS3 basic system for 100 more????

My Personal Opinion is xBox 360. XBL (Xbox Live) is fantastic. The only downside to 360 (for now) is the lack of games, but that is changing weekly. If you like First Person Shooters, like myself, I need only mention one game HALO 3.
I like the xBox Controller and the fact that it's wireless
I might miss a few games from PS mainly the FF series.
PS3 is just TOO expensive for a video game system, and let's be real here people, that is all I will ever use either of these sytems for.

Xbox 360 Definitely, I made that decision a while ago and I'm loving xbox live and the general design and power of the console. The controller is near perfect, I was surprised as I thought nothing could come close to the dual shock setup, and the wireless is great.

IMO, the final fantasy franchise has gone way downhill from when I got into FF7 and 8. The latest version coming out is supposed to have some wack system where the computer practically plays the game for you. http://fflounge.definedmatter.com/ffxii/gambit.php

Forza is the XBOX equivalent of GT, and Forza 2 is coming out for 360 http://games.teamxbox.com/xbox-360/1...-Motorsport-2/
It looks sweet.

Also, the GTA series is going to be released on 360, and will have exclusive content (episode based content) for XBL.

I haven't had any system crash issues, I think that's only been an issue with some of the early 360's. Just make sure it's in a well ventilated spot and it should be fine.

Sony's been doing just about everything in their power to **** off their fanbase

• Cost of console
• Making the PS3 a vehicle for Blu-Ray - subsequently causing shortage of consoles due to unavailability of blu-ray lasers
• Threatening legal action to prevent selling pre-owned games
• Screwing Europe on world launch day
• Taking the "shock" out of the dual shock
• "You should be paying even more for the console" speech
• Hinting at games costing up to $100 each

Well it was time for some excitement, and I am 80% sure the pecker was clothed. Best I saw before was a couple playing beauty shop the other night.

We were absolutely going ps3, but it ****ed us off so we went 360. I adore it., I have never been into consoles, but this one........well they made Saints Row and my family is about a day from putting up missing posters for me.

Don't forget that it will almost be impossible to find one at 500-600 bucks on launch day because only 300,000 are supposed to be released.

Yeah, with market value you're looking at $800 to $1200. I would wait at least 6 months before buying if you want to pick one up without making a purchase that makes your bum hurt.

IMO though, PS3 will have more quality games. X Box is almost devoid of any games that are great (save a couple of games here and there).

But everything negative that has been coming up about the PS3 makes it hard to justify its price. One good thing though, the Core PS3 system WILL have HDMI port (but only after a bunch of press and people starting complaining that the Core system was basically useless).

And, well, you know which system I'm going with...Wii...

PS2 did whoop Xbox's *** in the games department last time around, but things are changing. Sony had strong relationships with publishers going into ps2 from ps1, but this time around they are scaring them off. Nintendo and Microsoft are building much better publisher support going into this gen. Rockstar and ID are on 360 as their primary platform, Ubisoft is holding back Splinter cell from PS3. Rockstar was a huge loss for Sony (I bought 2 PS2's for San Andreas and Vice City... Long story). And EA has come up with a ton of titles to launch on the Wii. Capcom as well has started a franchise with Dead Rising on the 360 which has been very successful.

I plan on getting a Wii, the price is right and the experience will be very unique.

I think for the price of a P3 and the immentent 360 price drop before Xmas ... most folks would rather have both a X360 and a Wii than just a P3 for the same price .... screw blu-ray.

I really like my PS2, but the prices of system and games of PS3 makes me almost change my mind.

But then again, all my favorite games are for PS.
