It was problems with the unit or PSU overheating. But its got 3 3.2 PPC chips in it, gotta run hot.

 

It has two fans to keep it cool and it still overheats.. :scratch:

 

I thought that was happening with the orig. Xbox?? They prolly will need to make cases bigger like pcs.

It DID happen with the original.

This one has the problem..but some may account for people not reading the owners manual and placing it in a place it shouldn't be...

But I have read that some ARE overheating still..and some ARE scratching discs..even with following directions...

 

Ps3 will not be over $500 at launch. It will most likely launch at 450 or 400 in Japan, which is normally the same (or more) that is sells for in the US.

A Target clerk just told me this morning, that they have pulled their recent X-360 shipment and are sending it back,
as M/S is recalling the system.

He said they don't expect it to be restocked until February--
wonder if there is any truth to this?

 

Christmas rumor mill at its best. Would suck though.

 

The clerk did say he was going to take down the X-360 accessories display later today because of the recall.

Don't know what to make of this, but rumor mill sounds right.

Nope. Don't have one, don't want one. I'm still quite pleased with my PS2.

I might buy a PS3 a while after they come out and more games are available. I'm never one to rush to get something new.

There was a guy that came into our dealership to have service done and he was bragging about how he bought a 360 for his son on Ebay for $900! What a nut!

 

I had one took it back, with all the other formats out there why lay all the dough into more games ? We never had any problems with the previous model x-box keep it in a open well vented area.

 

Supposedly there's a class-action lawsuit pending against Microsoft for problems with the new Xbox

 

and sister Mary Elephant is in the front of the class class-class-CLASS !
and hope they have luck with that if Microsft did any wrong they have the lawyers or the money to settle out .

 

i dont see why ANYONE would want to brag that they paid MORE money for something than it actually costs AND had to wait for it to get shipped to their house lol

I just found out my aunt sold one for over $1,000 on ebay- people ARE nuts!

She bought it on a military base exchange for retail... not a bad idea..

 

im pre-ordering 2-3, and sellin 2 on ebay i hope i can get some car mod money from it!

 

I just bought my first PS2 this year so I don't think I'll be getting anything else for quite a while.
