My god, they just said on the news Playstation 3's are selling on the internet for $3000. YGBSM. THat is worse than the 20K adm's on the GT500

I think Ps3 will not do as well as 360 or Wii. Granted I'm bias since I have 360, but 360 is cheaper and the performance is right up there(not as much but close enough). And the Wii has the price advantage, more than half the sticker price of PS3..plus it has Zelda!...common guys Zelda!

 

I watched an Ebay auction last evening, and one system, with Call of Duty game sold for $3,275!!!! This goes out to those who are paying these prices: PEOPLE, ITS A STINKING VIDEO GAME SYSTEM FOR PETE"S SAKE, COME ON!!! $3,275, that is 4 months morgage for me!! I' guess I'll never understand it.

 

An eBay auction this morning went up to $90,000,000 - a bunch of dummies running the bid up. I don't understand the hype either of having to be the first and pay ridiculous amounts of money for a game.

I don't mind breaking out the PS2 once in awhile and playing a gamebut never and I mean never would I pay 3,000 or even 30,000 for one... you have any idea how many mods I could do with that cash !!!!!

I thought about the PS3 until I heard about the price. I might go 360, but probably not. I don't need another console.

 

Good news is 360 dumping price from $400 to $300, so strike while the iron is hot!!

 

yea and someone also got shot this morning by 2 muggers for it. i saw the lines...they were huge. the second shipment, right before xmas is gonna be a madhouse

 

Is that the upgrades system that went down in price? I was thinking of getting the 360, but only until the prices go down. If the price is $300 for the package, this may entice me to get it, as I really want Project Gotham Racing 3.

 

HOLY SH*T!!! I think I'll stick to my ps2 for a couple of years until the price comes down.

 

I will wait, still playing the PS1 !!! Now the PS2 is cheap I will buy that next.

 

I dunno if that 2nd shipment is going to come out before X-mas or not. I was in line this morning in a random lottery for one of the PS3's (did not get one), and the store mgr. said that they don't expect the next shipment until after the 1st of the year. I was going to flip it if I got one, and I am happy as heck with my Sega Dreamcast......but then I am not an everyday game player either.

 

Oh man, the Dreamcast...fond memories of that one.

I dont care what people say, that system was great. The Gundam game was fantastic.

 

I'm jealous.

ahh just get a computer..the games are cheaper, the graphics are better and it's upgradable

 

lol. My dad's friend at work bought one online at costco for $700 (with a game and some extras) and is selling it for around $3K. My dad called me right after school and told me he's gonna try and do the same. I laughed and told him to go for it. Sure I want a PS3. But I can definately wait for it

 

JUst heard on the radio some Jerk is trying to sell one for 6 thousand , I wonder what will happen with the WII 'S that are up next and may be more reliable , I hear talk because of limited relese that there are some issues still with PS3 ?

I got a X360 for 449+tax with 4 games and its the premium system (20gb drive) ...thats canadian by the way
