Tonight we celebrated a failed attempt to blow up our parliament (congress) in the year 16xx. We celebrate this in the way you celebrate July 4th (although that was a succesful attempt!!!).
Anyway, the pub that backs onto my house (Oh yeah...!) was holding a fireworks show, just to add to the general Warfare noise (still going on now at 23:55).
I took some pics with my digicam, and here they are! I am quite proud of them because, try as I could, I could never photograph a firework with a "Conventional" SLR camera!

Before I answer that, I'll suggest that that you try some for yourself. Then let us know what you think.
What this has to do with Guy Fawkes Day is beyond me, other than the beer connection.Then again, I once did have a Jaguar. Guilty as charged, Your Honor.
