What's your prized possesion(s)? Mine is my James Dean black leather jacket (makes me look like a badazz), my American Eagle destroyed jeans, my Gibson SG guitar, and my plasma tv.

Tough one..

If we are talking about material objects, I would have to say the 2 guitars handed down from my dad to me, although I dont play 6-string. a 1972 Gibson 325, a 1971 fender strat & the mesa boogie studio series tube amp. Also my saxaphone I played in high school. And all of the contents of mine and my fathers gunsafe. Lastly my dad's 1955 Chevy Bel Air sport coupe.

After those, its hard to say because everything else I know I could replace easily. My computer is something valuable to me since it has so much data on it I could never recover.

I see where this thread is going...so I'll pipe in - my Martin CEO IV limited edition acoustic. (Martin's version of a J-60 slope shoulder). Ever hear an acoustic shake the walls? That and maybe my 1958 tweed Gibson GA-30 Invader amp. I just had Kendrick re-cap it and wire it back to spec in the spring. Vintage 6V6 power tube distortion!

Things in the house that I get to enjoy but don't know how to play with:

The Fender Dg-11 Acoustic in black
or
The Dean Tradition Blueburst Acoustic- Electric
or
The Dime 333

But most expecially the Strat.. I dreamed about that strat for weeks before it finally came home- we chose the strat over Eleanors sister's down payment.

Or my mustang collection- diecasts etc.

Oh no- My 5 lovely ROCKS!

And my Fauxbras my Dad bought me.

Apart from my mustang? my little boy, followed by my dogs, followed by my house. Oh, I am sure Alex features somewhere, but she would kill me if I called her a possession!

@ James... thats why specifically said material objects :P

Here are pics of the gibson similar to mine, and my sax as well

The fender is a '71 strat, black body, black pickguard with white outline and floyd rose whammy.. had it appraised a few years back and the guy said about $1700.

Jeez, Scott, a fellow ax-wielder too?? Cool!

My screen name comes from the Selmer Paris MkVI sax model. I still have my original MkVI alto, with the low A on the bell. It gives her about a 60% longer bell and a very warm sound. She's a mini-tenor.

Also, my Alesis QS8.1. Some like the feel of Yamaha keyboards better, but the Alesis has dynamite voices.

Though I wouldn't mind a Yamaha C-series grand, now. . .

. . . maybe in ebony black finish, to match the Mustang!

Yup Jon, played Alto 7 years in marching, jazz and concert band. Tossed around tenor and bari every now and then. That sax is my exact one I own. I loved the color combo and it played great. It even survived through the tornado that destroyed my high school in 98. The case was wide open the whole time as well. I miss concert and jazz band more than anything.

I wouldnt have gotten the chrome like mine if they had this Black Chrome version available when I bought mine.
