Do you boil them in the shell?
Yeah I couldn't do it. I don't trust roadside stands.

First make sure their fresh green peanuts, and yes boil them in the shell. Soak them in water for 24 hours first. I would try cooking them in a slow cooker(crock pot) first cause its easy, and if you mess them up, your not out of a whole lot of money. But for the most part its pretty easy carlieif you need recipe let me know.

Love me some Boiled peanuts. Boil them every other weekend. I use the Triple 8 Recipe. 8 lbs. of peanuts, 8 oz. of salt, and 8 oz. of crawfish boil. I usually sneak in a touch of cayenne just for the heck of it. If boiled properly, they are perfect!
