I went to Mardi Gras in the heart of Bourbon St. on Monday and Fat Tuesday, and it was a unique experience. I don't care what they have down in Brazil for carnivale, it can't touch what I saw going on those two days.

Well I'm not going to Bourbon St. for sure. I'm planning on taking the family to an uptown parade. Orpheus which Harry Connick Jr's parade he puts on every year. If the wife didn't have to work Tuesday, I would have left the kids home and went to the big after party.
