watching the " kennedy`s " ..some of you know my family has ties to J.F.K .. just now as john is running for president in boston his dad refuses to allow sammy davis JR to show up at a fund raiser .. the old man says "" sammy is married to a white woman !!! every time he shows his face we lose a voter in alabama .... HA !!!

 

 

i have spoke a little of this before somewhere else but here is the rest of the story ..as we near the 50`th anniversary of the kennedy assassination there are tv specials on every day ..they interest me because of my dad ..my dad served in the navy during WW2 .. in basic training he met a fellow from boston mass .. they struck up a quick friendship .. my dad asked this fellow to come with him back to alabama on a leave so he could meet a sister of dads .. this fellow from boston fell hard for my aunt .. she was a beauty ..He told her to wait for him till wars end and he would come for her ..that happened ..fast forward nearly 20 years and this fellow from boston has a powerful friend in politics ..one of my sisters just out of high school ..very pretty .. is in need of a job ..she gets a job in Washington .. as a personal secretary to the president .. a few years later tragedy strikes .. again this friend of dads has connections .. the marine facing towards the front in this picture is one of my older brothers ..the casket is that of J.F.K ...
