BBQing, grilling, smoking, drying...It's not a pet peeve of mine, but Lee has a point. They're quite different methods, and they have very different results. Try grilling a brisket...you'll chew through your ropers before you get a bite of that meat down.
Speaking of BBQing, I've wanted to do a pork butt for a while now, but circumstances haven't allowed it...going to do one this Saturday. Really looking forward to it.

At the Brew Pub's potluck and brewing day, one guy brought some Texas chili. It was really great. And one guy's comment (about no beans in TX chili) was funny - "all the flavor, none of the air". lol
Wife won't let me have beans anymore. Last time she made them, they went through me so fast the farts smelled like the beans tasted.
