It was the exact same way here with the nerds up in Austin. I never bought and sold I just bummed off those that did. But my buddy would go to Austin and buy and bring it down here to sell and make 500% or more no problem. Till he got busted and got his second offense on the way towards a three strike sentence eventually. They caught him for distribution and claimed the value was worth more than it was and ****ed him. H thought he was being smart staying under the dollar limit.

This song makes me tear up often especially this version. My wife bought us tickets to go see them in Chicago last summer and it was incredible. Beautiful beautiful song and live arrangement.

I love Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. I remember one time I was at a practice session with my boys in a basement. We were going over some Allman Bros. songs. I mentioned that I'd like to do a Tom Petty song and they didn't want to do it but I insisted. I laid out the simple bass line and drums of Breakdown, told them It only had 2 verses and they picked right up on it.

We did it, boom ta boom tadata boom ta boom bass line and I started singing, before we were finished and none of us noticed, the whole family (little sister and all) had come down to the basement steps and was rocking out on the stairs to it. I sang my **** off, just belted it out, holding the mic like it was my dick, no thoughts of anyone in the world, just singing Break Down like nobody was listening.

I got laid that night, lol.

Tom Petty is one of the best artists I've ever heard in my opinion. It's hard to think of a time or a mood when I wouldn't want to listen to his music.

In my opinion, the single greatest rock or heavy metal instrumental ever written and/or performed.
