Weirdest thing I've ever seen at a concert (and probably before your time) we went to a Motley Crue concert in the mid 80's and GNR was the opening act. Nobody had ever heard of them, but they blew the roof off the place, when they left the stage for Crue to set up the crowd was going ballistic wanting more. Crue came out and were booed over and over with people chanting Guns and Roses. Crue actually cut their set short and left.

 

Unless you're a Georgia/Alabama resident, or an 80s young adult you probably won't even know these songs. Great band actually, personal connection for me. Don't ask.
